My Ringer rings one time and
quits.
When the phone is in the idle state (handset not lifted -
speakerphone not on - headset not on) the volume control rocker switch becomes
the ringer volume control. Pressing this several times in the down
position will cause the ringer to be turned off. However the system
prevents you from fully shutting of the ringer, so it will ring one time to
alert you of a call then only flash the light. To correct this, simply
push the volume control 1 time to the up position, and the phone will start
ringing normal again. To increase the volume push the button toward the up
position and the phone will ring once with each push to show you the volume
level.
